Job purpose

The Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator works closely with the Buyer to ensure the supply of raw materials to production, the delivery of samples and orders to customers and to ensure inventory accuracy.


  • Responsible for the accuracy of the raw material and finished goods inventory;
  • Responsible for inventory counts following internal procedures;
  • Respect ISO procedures by aiming for continuous improvement;
  • Organize the transportation of finished goods and shipping papers;
  • Organize the shipment of finished goods and shipping papers;
  • Perform shipping of customer orders via the ERP system and manual shipping documents, as required;
  • Participate in the planning and daily management of freight activities;
  • Contact carriers as required;
  • Ensure that loading procedures are followed;
  • Respect Canadian and international transportation standards;
  • Follow up and evaluate the annual performance of the carriers;
  • Ensure perfect communication and coordination with the logistics team and the sales team;
  • Validate customer orders and confirm purchase orders to customers;
  • Ensure that the products shipped are in accordance with the customer’s order;
  • Manage customer complaints related to transportation and work with all teams involved to find solutions;
  • Verify and record shipping documents on the ERP system;
  • Coordinate the activities of the warehouse clerk;
  • Participate in all other related tasks.

Education and experience

  • AEC or DEC in operations management;
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position;
  • Comfortable with the Office suite and ERP.
