Primary Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, develop and implement communications tools and strategies to support NanoXplore’s initiatives.
  • Develop and distribute communications documents, including press releases, key message documents, stakeholder messaging, and other documents.
  • Support NanoXplore’s team by working on various communications initiatives and announcements.
  • Proactively build relationships with trade media, monitor and analyze coverage, and distribute reports to stakeholders as required.
  • Support the adherence to corporate organizational culture, strategies and procedures to connect to the company’s objectives and priorities.
  • Assist NanoXplore’s team in its ESG initiatives.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications/Journalism/Public Relations or a related discipline;
  • 3 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or related discipline with experience in media relations preferred;

Skills

  • Bilingualism (French-English) is required as the successful candidate will need to interact on a regular basis with individuals located outside of Quebec;
  • A strong sense of initiative;
  • Proven ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment;
  • Can easily overcome obstacles/problems and achieve targets;

Job summary:

NanoXplore is looking for a Purchaser to join our amazing team. Under the supervision of the General Manager, the person in this key position must be motivated and able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. They will be a team player who will help us build a strong network of suppliers to ensure the continuity of procurement and operational stability.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborating with production and warehouse to maintain stocks at appropriate levels.
  • Processing requisitions, generating quote requests, and purchase orders through the ERP system.
  • Negotiating prices, purchasing terms, and delivery schedules for materials and services. Preparing comparative tables when necessary.
  • Monitoring pending orders.
  • Maintaining detailed records of quotes, purchase orders, contracts, and other documents.
  • Establishing relationships with potential suppliers to assess their ability to provide quality and reliable products within specified deadlines. Sourcing new supply options to optimize costs.
  • Implementing and maintaining a Kanban system for consumables (production, maintenance, R&D, stationery).
  • Maintaining procedures and documentation related to the quality management system (EQMS). Managing non-conformities and identifying improvement opportunities in relation to procurement.
  • Establishing and maintaining performance indicators.
  • Working closely with warehouse staff to ensure order receipt.
  • Validating invoice compliance with purchase orders upon request from accounts payable.
  • Supporting shipping activities.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports as needed.
  • Performing any other related tasks.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or a technical diploma with equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Bilingualism (French-English) is required as the successful candidate will need to interact on a regular basis with individuals located outside of Quebec;
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 / 14001 standards – an asset;
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant role.

Job summary :

NanoXplore is looking for a Electro-mechanic for its plant located in Ville Saint-Laurent. Permanent position, Full time! 5 days a week. 8h/day.

Responsabilities:

  • Install, maintain, repair, adjust various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and automation systems of production equipment;
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and troubleshooting according to work orders and service calls;
  • Maintain the building;
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the production lines as a priority and complete maintenance sheets and work order reports in an ISO 9001/14001 environment;
  • Suggest and/or make modifications and improvements to equipment;
  • Transfer his knowledge of the machines to the operators;
  • Ensure that everything is done according to health and safety rules;
  • Inform his superiors of the progress of work orders and problems encountered, parts, technology etc;
  • Collaborate well with other members of the team and the company;
  • Ensure that subcontractors comply with company policies;
  • Fill out his time report and daily work done in the software;
  • Review the various performance indicators with the team leader;
  • All other related tasks requested by his supervisor.

Education and Experience : 

  • DEP in electromechanics or industrial mechanics;
  • 2-5 years in the role of electromechanic;
  • Certificate of qualification in electricity is an asset (License C).

Job summary :

NanoXplore is looking for a Production Operator for its plant located in Ville Saint-Laurent. Permanent position, Full time! 4 days a week. 10h/day. Salary of $25/hour.

Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Production Operator ensures that the production line runs efficiently and safely.

Responsabilities : 

  • Operate production equipment;
  • Ensure proper operation of production lines;
  • Adjust machine parameters;
  • Perform start-up, troubleshooting and shutdown of the machine;
  • Respect the operating procedures of the line;
  • Maintain the production logbook;
  • Operate the forklift and electric pallet truck;
  • Perform some daily preventive maintenance tasks on process equipment;
  • Perform all other related tasks;
  • Assist other departments as needed.

Education and Experience : 

  • High school diploma;
  • Experience in forklift driving (an asset);
  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing field (an asset).
