In this role, you will :

  • Establish the PFMEA, control plans, and audit plans, analyze the results, and take countermeasures;
  • Collect, document, distribute all specifications and requirements for products and provide appropriate training;
  • Participate in the development of work instructions and technical support documents related to the products;
  • Manage internal and external requests for engineering changes or product requirements (sdrc, revisions, drawings, specifications);
  • Manage the PPAP process and obtain approvals for parts from our customers and suppliers;
  • Establish requirements, design and manage the manufacturing and validation of product verification gages and templates;
  • Ensure the management of subcontractors for: the selection, the periodic evaluation as well as providing support during tooling submission;
  • Participate in the design and manufacturing of tooling (quotation, design, follow-ups, validations, follow-up of manufacturing budgets);
  • Supervise the manufacturing of prototypes and first parts;
  • Supervise the manufacturing department of composite molds;
  • Carry out the analysis of the quality and condition of the existing tooling, its maintenance in good condition (internal and external);
  • Supervise the CMM (metrology) department by coordinating it with tooling projects and production demands, evaluate department personnel;
  • Recommends necessary changes to ensure objectives are met;
  • Provides support to the Director for various mandates;
  • Performs all other related tasks required by the position;
